Ganfule Tablets

　＃　Ganfule Tablets are produced by Huahe Pharmacy LengShuiJiang Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd., a subsidiary of Huahe Pharmaceutical Inc, within China National Group Corp. of Traditional & Herbal Medicine. Shenzhen Kangzhe Pharmacutical Co., Ltd. is the sole distributor of the product in P. R China.

　＃　Ganfule Tablets are targeted to treat primary liver cancer with stagnation of liver energy and spleen-deficiency symptom and hepatitis B and liver cirrhosis with specified symptoms.

　＃　Ganfule Tablets have been included in the National TCM (traditional Chinese medicine) protection list since 28 October 2006 and valid until 22 July 2013, pursuant to which Ganfule Tablets shall only be manufactured by the approved manufacturer which is stated to be Huahe Pharmacy Lengshuijiang Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. during such protection period. Ganfule Tablets have already been listed on the National Basic Insurance Drug List in PRC.

　＃　Globally, approximately 250,000 patients die of PLC (primary liver carcinoma) per annum, of which 40 per cent. are in the PRC. The prevalence rate of PLC is 24.6 per 100,000 in the PRC. Therefore CMS holds view that Ganfule Tablets will have great market potential and will market Ganfule Tablets as prescription medicine with acceptable end user price.
