＃ Shierxing Injection is an off-patent generic pharmaceutical based on the active ingredient somatostatin, targeted at treating severe acute esophageal varicosis haemorrhage, severe acute gastric or duodenal ulcer haemorrhage, complicated acute erosive gastritis or hemorrhagic gastritis, adjuvant therapy of pancreatic/biliary/intestinal fistula, prevention and treatment of complications of post-operation pancreatic surgery, and the adjuvant therapy of diabetic ketoacidosis.
＃ Somatostatin injection was introduced into the PRC for clinic by hospitals more than 10 year ago, and is listed on National Basic Insurance Drug List, under category B.
＃ With our own research technologies and manufacturing capability on peptides, CMS was granted with approval for manufacturing and marketing Shierxing Injection by SFDA, and will market the product within 2007. Relying on Group¨s sales and marketing network, it expects to gain a significant percentage of the market share.
