＃ UDCA is widely used on the treatment of hepatobiliary diseases such as chronic viral hepatitis, alcoholic and non-alcoholic steatohepatitis. Ursofalk is the first choice effective medication for dissolution of cholesterol gallstones in the gallbladder when gallstones are radiolucent and the gallbladder function is intact, cholestatic liver disease (e.g. primary biliary cirrhosis), and biliary reflux gastritis. Ursofalk is included in the National Basic Insurance Drug List, under category A.
＃ Ursofalk maintains a high growth rate in the Chinese market, with annual growth rates of 99.1 per cent., 43 per cent. and 40 per cent. in 2004, 2005, and 2006 repectively.
