◆　Xinhuosu（Nesiritide）, full name Lyophilized Recombinant Human Brain Natriuretic Peptide, is classified as a National Class One New Drug by the State Food and Drug Administration (“SFDA”) and was independently developed and owned by Tibet Rhodiola. China Medical System Holdings Ltd (CMS) is the sole distributor of the product in P. R China since March 2008.

　◆　Xinhuosu is the first novel agent approved for congestive heart failure (CHF) in more than a decade and is a recombinant form of the naturally occurring protein secreted by the heart as part of the body’s response to CHF. The drug has several significant advantages over existing therapies for CHF. Xinhuosu has been granted approval by SFDA for manufacturing and marketing in China since April 2005.
