CMS-H002, for use in the treatment of ulcerative colitis, is
in pre-clinical research stage. Ulcerative colitis is a chronic
inflammatory disease occuring in the colon or rectum, the mechanism
of which is still unclear currently.
CMS-H002 has earned initial pharmacodynamics verification and
application has been made for patent protection. It is scheduled
to complete its preclinical study and commence Phase I clinical
trials in 2008. |
